Strategies for English learning

In my previous opinion, learning English is just to memorise as much as one can using one's brain, but now I know how stupid this idea seems.Learning English is far from just using your brain. It is a process full of writing, speaking, reading and listening; hence, it remands your hands, mouth, eyes and ears to work coherently. When learing a new word or phrase, you should look it up first in the dictionary to know its exact meaning and usage. This step makes you know how to write it correctly in a complicated sentence. To memorise it, you should speak it out aloud in an example sentence. Silent reading is no use in practising one's mouth to be fit for this new "friend", which will be used in daily communication. When coming across this new word in a paragraph, you should recognize it and recall its meaning as soon as possible. This is the real reading that helps. To make your ears familiar with the fresh word, you should try your best to pick it out in your daily communications. When the entire procedure is done, you can say you have owned this new word.
